Step 1: Place the cells in a constant temperature climate chamber at 25°C for 2 hours.

Make sure that the cell temperature is the same as the ambient temperature.

Step 2: Discharge the cells with a constant current of 1C rate to the termination voltage and let it stand for 2 hours.

Step 3: Charge the cells with a constant current of 1C to the cut-off voltage, and then charge it with a constant voltage until the current drops to a rate of 0.05C, and then let it stand for 2 hours.

Step 4: Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 three times.

Step 5: Record the charge and discharge capacity and energy of the cells in step 4.

The capacity and energy averages of three charge-discharge cycles were taken as typical values.

Step 6: In a fully charged state, place the cells in a constant temperature climate chamber at 25°C for 2 hours, then measure the OCV/IR of the cells.

Make sure that the voltage of the cells is completely stable before taking the measurement.

 

By testing the battery cells, the key parameters obtained from the test are calculated, such as maximum value, minimum value, average value, range, relative range, standard deviation, normal distribution test, boxplot and other statistics tool for analysis, so that the level of consistency of the battery cells in the batch can be known.
